Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Helen, and I am a 30 year old preschool teacher, who was diagnosed with Stage III (and later Stage IV) endometriosis in March 2018. I have an adoring husband, amazing family, and the greatest friends I could ever asked for that have helped me get through my diagnosis and treatment of this chronic pelvic pain illness. I suffered for about 10 years before I received my diagnosis. I also received my diagnosis in the midst of my husband and I checking our reproductive health in trying to conceive.
This blog is my outlet about my journey from diagnosis to excision surgery and also our fertility journey! We will begin trying to conceive again in March 2019, so stay tuned for those exciting blogs! We are currently dog parents to a rescue mutt named Domino. He’s a pretty cool guy, although, he likes my husband more than me. Our nieces and nephew are our world and we love spending time with them and having sleepovers and spoiling them! I am also very focused in my career of being a preschool teacher- it’s a real passion of mine and I have been doing it for close to a decade.
Thanks for reading, enjoying, commenting, liking, and sharing!
